Back To Blue is a rock band formed in Waxahachie Texas during the spring of 2004 by Eric Jordan (lead vocal/guitar) and Rick Fontaine (guitar/vocal). They began performing around the Dallas/Ft. Worth area shortly thereafter and in the spring of 2005 self-released the “Forgotten” E.P. consisting of five songs penned by Jordan and Fontaine. Frequent shows on the local bar scene honed the band’s performance skills and led them to inject into their repertoire a diverse mix of classic rock and blues standards as well as more contemporary hits, all branded with the band’s distinctive sound. Throughout a number of personnel changes and other adversities the band has persevered, releasing their full-length debut CD “The 13th Day” in 2007 and rounding out their current lineup with the additions of Paul Blanchard (bass/vocal) and Carl Edmison (drums/vocal).
The band is currently playing live as often as possible and gathering material for a new CD, slated for release before the end of 2009.
